SHIPPING INFORMATION
When does my order ship?
All cleared orders* require 1-2 business days of processing time prior to shipping. Components include, but not limited to, the payment status of the customer, the billing and shipping information validity, and the availability of the ordered item(s).
*A cleared order is defined as an order that is available, without questions, for shipping. Special and custom orders will require extra time for items to be obtained from the manufacturer. You will be notified in advance so you can choose whether or not to proceed with the order.
What are the shipping methods?
Except for surfboards, all domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground, though you will have the option to choose 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or UPS Overnight (additional fee will apply).
All surfboards up to 8 feet in length will be shipped via Federal Express Ground or Home Delivery. All boards over 8 feet are shipped by a freight company to be determined at the time of order fulfillment.
How much does shipping cost?
Except for surfboards and skis, all orders totaling $75.00 or more, being shipped to addresses in the contiguous United States (lower 48), will receive FREE UPS Ground shipping. Normal UPS Ground fees will be applied to orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean.
International orders are shipped via USPS Priority International. Please note International orders cannot be placed through bravesurf.com; we can easily create an order for you via e-mail and PayPal.
More expedient shipping options are available - shipping cost depends on the options you choose, the size and weight of your item(s), and the location of the order destination. To estimate shipping costs, place all the desired item(s) in your cart and then proceed to checkout. Once you are on either the Shopping Cart or Shipping and Billing pages, you can select the desired shipping option and the associated estimated cost.
Surfboard and ski shipping fees are determined at time of packaging (weight and dimensions determine cost). In some cases, surfboards are shipped directly from the manufacturer. If the shipping fee is greater than that calculated when your order was placed, we will contact you by phone or email to advise you of the shipping fee that will apply to your order, and to obtain permission to charge your credit card on file (or to a different one if so desired). Surfboards, snowboards and skis cannot be shipped outside of the United States and Canada.
How long does it shipping take?
Bravesurf.com processes and ships out packages Monday-Friday; we are not open to process or deliver any packages during the weekend.
UPS Ground is 1-5 business days (consult UPS map on Shopping Cart page)
UPS 3 Day Select is guaranteed 3-day service
UPS 2nd Day Air is within 2 business days
UPS Overnight is within one business day
Please note: Do not consider the day an order is placed as day one. Begin counting from the next business day to get an accurate expectation of delivery time.
Bravesurf.com is not responsible for shipment delays that might occur. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead when placing the orders online.
What happens if my package is lost or damaged?
If you receive a damaged package, contact us immediately at 732-899-7874 x19. There is only a two-business day grace period once the item has been received. From there we will submit a claim for a damaged package that takes 5-8 business days for processing. You have a choice to either receive a refund or a replacement for the package (if in stock). Lost packages will require 8-10 business days for processing.
What happens if my shipment is missing items?
If the package appears to have been tampered with or is simply missing items, please contact us immediately at 732-899-7874 x19.
How do I track my package?
A tracking number will be provided via email once an order has been shipped out.
Can I modify my order during shipment?
Once an order has been packaged and processed, we cannot modify any orders. We also cannot re-route or modify any packages once the order has been shipped out.
If the ordered item does not fit or is unsatisfactory in any way, you may return the item in accordance with our Return Policy. Please remember that all sales/clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned.
Can I pick up my order at one of Brave New World’s retail locations?
Due to our adherence to credit card security policy, all online orders must be shipped using any of the shipping methods offered.
