Black Thumb was designed to be ridden two inches shorter a half inch wider and the same thickness as your high performance shortboard or one inch longer than your Black Diamond, same width and thickness. Black Thumb features a pulled thumb tail for great holding power in larger surf. Double concave in the tail for better control in high speed turns. And a bit of extra tail rocker to help the board fit deeper in the pocket. This board is meant to be ridden in punchy waves from two to eight feet.

This is a great step-up for the guy that has gotten used to riding shorter, snappy summer boards and doesn't want to loose that feeling in the bigger winter waves.
