The Rusty Slayer Surfboard is a direct result of Kelly Slater and his experimenting. Thats right this is just like the board Kelly surfed at Pipe. The idea behind this Rusty surfboard is it is a surfboard designed to paddle into and handle big surf while being surf significantly shorter. The wide point of this surfbaord is pulled 2" forward rather than 2" back. This gives the board the feel of a longer board while being short for fitting into the pocket better.
